No. We will open the doors 60 minutes before class. Typically, the first 30 minutes are to allow people the extra time to get situated, socialize, and have a glass of wine or grab a bite to eat. We start promptly 30 minutes in to each class time. We do start the class ON TIME. Arriving late to class can disrupt the flow of instruction and limits how much fun you'll have, so if you arrive after the start time, we will ask you to reschedule. When we have large classes (which you'll recognize by a low “Seats Remaining” number on the registration page or if it’s sold out), we recommend arriving right after the doors open because seating is first come, first serve.
Yes and no. We allow you to reserve max of 4 seats together as long as they all arrive by the time class starts. The doors will open one (1) hour prior to the event to allow you to come in to reserve seating for your guests. We will allow you to hold seats up to 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. After that we kindly ask that you allow others that may be waiting to be seated. We will be keeping social distancing between reservations, please contact us if you would like to sit with another guest.
We supply everything you need for a class but the bubbly: a canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, smocks, aprons, etc. If we offer a special class, we will indicate if you need to bring additional supplies in the class description
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes you wouldn't mind with an additional color or two to every session. We supply knee-length aprons for protection against water-based acrylic paint that we use. These paints become water-resistant when they dry, so roll your sleeves up!
Absolutely, we are a BYOB paint and sip so bring your own bottle of wine or other spirits- it may help you paint better! (as long as you can verify you're over the age of 21).
For your convenience, we do have wine and bottle openers as well as disposable cups. Private events must inform staff if any additional utensils are needed.
Yes. We have limited seating due to Covid restrictions and want our artists to concentrate on what they do best. So, to make their life easier, we make sure they know exactly how many people they’ll be leading ahead of time.
We post the schedule four weeks in advance. Join our email list to get a sneak peek of the monthly calendar via email a few days before the online posting.
The studio will be open if classes are scheduled. We will contact everyone on the list via e-mail and/or phone you provide if we need to close the studio, and we will post all closings on the home page of the website. If we close the studio due to inclement weather, you will not be charged for class.
If you let us know, we will keep this in mind when scheduling the next month’s painting roster!
We do! Children must be a minimum of 8 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS. There is a 15 child minimum for private parties. Social Painting classes and Open Studio are for big kids. That being said, we understand that many families have aspiring artists under their roof, so children under 18 are kindly asked to be accompanied by an adult if attending a Tipsy Painting class. Young artists can also check out our Kreative Kids/ Kid Camp classes.
We limit the number of painters for our classes because of the size of the studio, and we want to create the best experience for our guests. If you have signed up for one of our classes, and you cannot attend for any reason, you will be granted a full refund as long as you notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the class. That will give us a chance to contact other interested guests who may be able to attend in your place.
In the event that you need to cancel, reschedule, or modify a class registration on notice of less than 48 hours (but not less than 6 hours), we cannot refund your money, but we will issue you a voucher for a future class without penalty. If you cancel, reschedule, or modify less than 6 hours before the start of the class, or if you fail to attend without notice, then your credit card will be charged or your Groupon voucher will be redeemed as we are unable to replace you with other guests.
No, sorry. This is a “hands-on” activity. Cancelation cancellation
During the session, we reserve the right to take photos. These may be used on our social media sites. If you do not want your picture taken for these purposes, please let us know, we want to respect your privacy. Feel free to take your own pics and share on your social media sites!
Creative Sippin’ reserves the right to cancel a painting session at any time due to class size, weather, sickness, etc. If we feel we need to cancel a painting session, every attempt will be made to notify those that have signed up for session. If you paid online, you will be given the option of rescheduling your session or a refund will be made
